Día 1
Pick-up and welcome at the meeting point: La Palmera suspension bridge
We will begin our adventure at La Palmera suspension bridge, where we will welcome you and tell you the story of its construction and transformation into a bridge for vehicles. We will cross this narrow suspension bridge by foot and take excellent photographs of the Pastaza river.
Arrival at Finca Palmonte
We will ride comfortably in our 4×4 vehicle to the entrance of Finca Palmonte. If the weather permits, we will have the opportunity to take a guided walk along an ancient trail in one section, where we will learn about the history, flora and fauna of the area.
Presentation “Finca Palmonte – an ecotourism refuge” and visit to the garden
Then, at the lodge, we will enjoy a presentation with photos and information about this ecotourism refuge and we will take a short walk through the garden to observe some of the flora and fauna, including orchids, bromeliads, birds, butterflies and other insects.
Hike to Consuelo Waterfall
We will have a refreshment before starting the hike to the Consuelo Waterfall. Following the course of the river and crossing it several times, we will appreciate the diverse nature of the forest. After approximately two hours, we will arrive at the foot of this impressive waterfall, where we will rest and enjoy a picnic.

Lunch and return
We will return to the farm to enjoy a delicious lunch to recharge our energy. We will have time to relax and enjoy more of the place surrounded by nature before descending to the meeting point.
