You can take the bus, car, taxi or bicycle to get to the meeting point in the area of La Palmera (25 km from Baños de Agua Santa, in the direction of Puyo on the E30 highway, before Río Negro). If you need it, you can contact us to help you with the transport management.From the meeting point we will take you on foot or in our 4×4 truck to the Finca Palmonte facilities.
No. All visits require a reservation in advance!
We are in the cloud forest of Ecuador. We have a temperate and humid climate. Temperatures vary between 15ºC and 26ºC
The rains are sporadic, more common in the months of April to July.Weather conditions can change rapidly and are often unpredictable.
A Must Have:
- Waterproof jacket or raincoat
- Mountain shoes
- Pants and quick-drying t-shirts or long-sleeved shirts
- Breathable socks (minimum one pair for each day)
- Sweater or pullover
- Insect repellent
Recommended:
- Refillable water bottle
- Cap
- Sunscreen
- Headlamp
- Binoculars
- Camera
- Small backpack for excursions
We provide:
- Rubber boots for walks
- Waterproof poncho for activities
We have WIFI (fiber optic connection) in the accommodation area.Mobile network signal is only found in certain parts.
No. It is not allowed to bring pets. But our two dogs will be happy to receive you.
The number of birds that can be observed is innumerable, but you can consult some of the ones registered by one of our guests to have a reference. Bird record>>
